Math Tutor – Oceanside: Virtual Learning
These days, learning isn’t happening the way it usually does. Since the coronavirus pandemic forced widespread closures, the quality of pre-K-12 education offered is uneven across the country—even within the same district and school. Programs range from rigorous, virtual replicas of in-person classes and curricula to unstructured systems that involve little more than handing out worksheets with no instruction to go along with them.
As a result, many parents are turning to online tutors and classes to keep students motivated and avoid a brain drain. Tutoring is helping fill in time once dedicated to sports and after-school activities, and providing one-on-one contact for students who aren’t getting attention from overwhelmed teachers.
